Rita (Tokos) Balchikonis

Rita (Tokos) Balchikonis of Johnson City, NY, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter; her son, Greg; her brother, Henry Tokos; her brother-in-law, Frank Olszewski; her nephews, Jim Macko and Thomas Olszewski. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Tokos; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sisters, Dorothy “Dot” (Joe) Macko, Lottie Olszewski; her sister-in-law, Joyce Tokos; her favorite nieces and nephews, David and Gary Macko, Robert Olzsewski, Frank Olshefski, Henry Tokos, Maria Rando and Dan Tokos. She was a retired employee of IBM Endicott and a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity, Binghamton, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, 11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St. Binghamton, NY. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. The family will receive friends at Holy Trinity Church on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory can be made to Mercy House, 212 N. McKinley Ave. Endicott, NY 13760.
