Michael S. Slahucka

Michael S. Slahucka, 52, died as a result of a head injury on June 7, 2018.  He was predeceased by his mother, Nancy Slahucka; and his grandparents.  He is survived by his father, Ronald Slahucka (partner, Linda Moore), of Bucksport, ME ; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon (Pedro) Ortiz, of El Sobrante, CA ; Joan Slahucka (partner, Allen Hunter), of Stevenson Ranch, CA ; a niece and a nephew, Christine Ortiz and Morgan Ortiz; an aunt, Joan Tassey, of Apalachin; an uncle, William Slahucka, of Catawba, VA ; and a cousin, Robert Tassey.   Michael graduated from Union-Endicott High School, class of 1983.  He received an Associate degree in Business Management from Broome Community College.  The majority of Michael’s career was in automotive sales in Texas, Florida, Louisiana and Maine.  Most recently, he was working for The Night Shift. Michael loved to play hockey and golf.  He also loved raising his many dogs. Michael was an organ donor.  We are proud to say that his unselfish act was able to help two people.
