Mary (Bucek) Konchuha

Mary (Bucek) Konchuha, 100, of Binghamton, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017.  She was predeceased by her sister, Pauline Guley;  and her brother, Frank Bucek.  She is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Chuck) Barney; 2 grandchildren, Jennifer (Carl) Hopkins, and Megan Barney;  2 great-grandchildren, Cassidy and Tyler Hopkins, all of Binghamton; a special niece, Joan Lord; also several other nieces and nephews.  She was retired from GE of Johnson City after 30 years of service.  She was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity, Binghamton, and the Czechoslovak-Moravan Club.  Private funeral services were held and burial was in Slovak Catholic Cemetery.  Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St., Binghamton, NY  13905.  Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
