Helen King

Helen King, 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 26, 2017.  She was predeceased by her husband, Charles L. King; her siblings, Ann Semanco, Julie Barker, Michael Sheptock and Peter Sheptock.  She is survived by her daughter, Karen M. King, of Syracuse; her son and daughter-in-law, David & Maribeth King, of Endicott;  3 grandchildren, Andrew, Jonathan and Lauren King; sister-in-law, Maryann Sheptock; and several nieces and nephews.  Helen was a member of St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church where she sang in the choir.  She was an avid golfer and a fan of the NY Giants and the Yankees.  She loved the home she and her husband built and often called it the most beautiful place on Earth.  A Divine Liturgy will be offered by the Very Rev. Protopresbyter James Dutko at 9:30 AM on Saturday at St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church, 288 Clinton St., Binghamton.  Burial will follow in Riverhurst Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday at the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Michael's Church.
