David Bobik Obituary

David S. Bobik, 50, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, September 20, 2018. With great sadness, we must say good-bye to our son, brother and uncle. David held a bachelor's in Civil Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology.  He was a dedicated and hardworking employee of Pennoni, State College, PA since 2005.  Dave was kind, gentle and independent.  An avid reader, he could quote the famous lines of the Star Trek TV series and movies, or imitate Curly from the Three Stooges to add levity to any conversation. David was predeceased by his dad, Rudolph, in 2001.  He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Bobik; 5 sisters, Karen /Richard Carpenter, Patricia Bobik, Mary Beth /Michael Kadylak, Annette /Charles Burnett, and Julie /Steven Colucci; 2 brothers, Michael /Michelle Bobik and John Bobik.  He is also survived by his beloved nieces and nephews, and a large extended family. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St, Binghamton.  Family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass at 11:00 AM.  Private burial will be held at a later date.  Please send memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association.  Arrangements by Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc.
