Penny Kisacky

Penny Kisacky, 93, went to be with her husband on Saturday, January 20, 2024.  Her husband, John Kisacky Jr. predeceased her in 1999.  She is survived by her children, Robert Kisacky, Debra & Thomas Boyd, Doreen Kisacky & Rex Lawson, and Randy & Deborah Kisacky;  8 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Ascension Lutheran Church.  Penny was a loving wife and mother; she was devoted to her husband and children, and supportive in all of their hobbies and interests.  She enjoyed making new friends and aquaintances as she assisted her husband designing and building houses, had her own beauty shop, and served as a volunteer at Wilson Hospital. Penny was a member of the JC Senior Center where she liked to socialize and was an avid card player.  She happily mowed her lawn with her Wheel Horse Tractor until her health slowed her down.  The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:30 PM on Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Bednarsky Funeral Home, Inc., 96 Glenwood Ave., Binghamton.  A prayer service will be offered at 6:30 PM.  Burial will be in Slovak Lutheran Cemetery in the Spring.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the  Lourdes Hospice.
